Dubai is not waiting for the right moment. It is creating one. From May 18 to May 24, 2026, the UAE's blockchain ecosystem is transforming an entire city into a single, coordinated venue — and the world is watching.

MENA Blockchain Week (MENABCW) has officially launched, bringing together 40+ simultaneous events, 5,000+ attendees, and 100+ speakers across Dubai in the region's first-ever decentralized, citywide blockchain initiative. Organized by SkyNet X Solutions (SNXS) and backed by Dubai Business Events (DBE) as the official destination partner, this is not a conference. It is ecosystem infrastructure.

A New Model for Blockchain Events

What sets MENA Blockchain Week apart from every major event before it is its architecture. This is not a single summit with a single organizer and a single venue. It is a shared campaign identity that allows independent organizers, community leaders, and blockchain projects to run their own events simultaneously — all under one coordinated banner, with Dubai itself as the venue.

The initiative operates on a Four-Layer Model:

  • Layer 0 — Campaign Infrastructure: SkyNet X Solutions (SNXS) provides the campaign identity, legal framework, and sponsor coordination. Founding venue partner Hadron Founders Club anchors the physical infrastructure, with additional event space from Unbox Community, 25H Hotel, and Dubai Founders HQ activating the city-wide footprint.
  • Layer 1 — Independent Organizers: Community leaders and blockchain projects running events under the MENABCW banner with full creative independence.
  • Layer 2 — Institutional Partners: Dubai Business Events (DBE), the Dubai Blockchain Center (DBCC), the UAE Blockchain and AI Association (ABAI), and leading global exchanges hosting official meetups throughout the week.
  • Layer 3 — The Audience: Founders, builders, investors, institutions, and policymakers converging across Dubai for seven days of programming.

Built on Dubai's Blockchain Leadership

Dubai's emergence as a global blockchain destination has been built on three pillars: progressive regulation through the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), institutional backing aligned with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, and sustained inflows of international capital and talent. MENA Blockchain Week is a direct expression of that foundation — and a response to the market fragmentation that followed the exit of a major anchor event from the region.

"Dubai's ability to bring together global industries, talent and investment continues to drive the growth of specialised business ecosystems across the emirate," said Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment. "MENA Blockchain Week reflects the increasing scale and maturity of the blockchain and digital assets sector in Dubai through a coordinated city-wide model that connects industry stakeholders, investors, innovators and communities across a full week of programming."

The initiative aligns with the UAE's Proud of UAE initiative and the D33 Agenda, and has secured a formal Memorandum of Understanding with Dubai Business Events — granting registered attendees access to a dedicated delegate-boosting package including Dubai destination content, promotional imagery, and collateral.

Seven Days. Eight Verticals.

MENA Blockchain Week 2026 runs across eight themed days, each dedicated to a distinct vertical within the blockchain and digital assets ecosystem:

  • May 14: Pre-event Launch — Community Resilience Summit
  • May 18 (Day 1): Community Day & Builders Day
  • May 19 (Day 2): AI in Blockchain and Automation
  • May 20 (Day 3): Stablecoins, Neo Banks, and Agentic Payments
  • May 21 (Day 4): UAE Blockchain Regulations, Security and Compliance
  • May 22 (Day 5): RWA and Tokenization
  • May 23 (Day 6): Content Creators Day and Workshops
  • May 24 (Day 7): Traders and Exchange Day

50+ Speakers. Global Institutions.

The speaker lineup draws from the most influential organizations shaping the blockchain and digital asset landscape globally, including:

  • Binance — the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange
  • VARA — the UAE's virtual assets regulator
  • Ethereum Foundation — Ethereum's core development body
  • Animoca Brands — global Web3 gaming and investment leader
  • Polygon Labs — leading blockchain scaling platform
  • RAK Bank — one of the UAE's leading retail banks
  • CoinMENA — MENA's leading crypto exchange
  • Bitpanda — the European digital assets platform
  • Hacken — leading blockchain cybersecurity firm
  • CoinMarketCap, Dubai Blockchain Center, D2A2, Mintlayer, FearsOff Innovation City, and many more

The Ecosystem That Chose to Build

"When the market pulled back, the community stepped forward," said Mohamad Alhusseini (MoeX), Founder & CEO of SkyNet X Solutions and Founder & Event Director of MENA Blockchain Week. "MENA Blockchain Week is what that looks like: an ecosystem that chose to build rather than wait in one city that has never stood still."

Dr. Marwan Alzarouni, CEO of the Dubai Blockchain Center, added: "MENA Blockchain Week is a natural extension of Dubai's blockchain leadership. The decentralized model it operates on reflects the city's spirit — open, collaborative, and built for scale."

Dr. Mohamed Al Hemairy, Chairman of the UAE Blockchain and AI Association, described it as "a significant milestone in our regional ecosystem, not only for its scale, but for its decentralized architecture that empowers the community and activates Dubai as a global hub for shared value, collaboration, and innovation."
