What is the hype about Meta or Meta world Meta universe or Metaverse?

Yesterday we have seen the peak of the word Meta when Facebook release the new Company name “META”

Which will bring together apps and technologies under one new company brand. Meta’s focus will be to bring the metaverse to life and help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.

So, let’s go back to the basics, The word “meta” comes from the Greek word meaning “beyond” and this is the power, it is beyond our current known physical world, until we reach mars a new world will be created, discovered, and nurtured The MetaVerse.

What is a Metaverse?

Metaverse is a broad term. It generally refers to the future of shared virtual world environments which people can access via the internet driven by virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR).

In social media terms, the metaverse will feel like a hybrid of today’s online social experiences, sometimes expanded into three dimensions, or projected into the physical world. It will let you share immersive experiences with other people even when you can’t be together — and do things together you couldn’t do in the physical world. 

There is also a specific type of metaverse which uses blockchain technology. In these, users can buy virtual land and other digital assets using cryptocurrencies.
